How We Got Here

Standard AI began in a Texas garage in 2015, when a team of former SEC engineers started building computer vision technology to take autonomous shopping to a whole new level. In the process, they developed a tech stack that could map a customer’s journey from store entrance to exit.

This innovative work led to the realization that computer vision could revolutionize physical retail just as Google Analytics transformed e-commerce, leading to the debut of our VISION platform.
